habe neuen rechner g4/450 mit macos9.04. seitdem bringe ich die
software barcode pro 3.07 nicht mehr zum laufen. hat
irgendjemand erfahrungen, ob ich zwingend ein update brauche,
das auch unter os9 läuft?

da wir erst jetzt das neue barcode pro 3.55 angeschafft haben kann ich dir zumindest sagen, daß es läuft. und zur frage mit dem update sagt snx lediglich, daß es nötig ist. hier kannst du ja mal nachlesen:

If you have Bar Code Pro 2.x you should upgrade without question since changes to printing environments and bar coding in general make the results of Bar Code Pro 2.x invalid. If you have Bar Code Pro 3.0 through Bar Code Pro 3.07, which the program may function, it should also be upgraded for the same reasons. If you have Bar Code Pro 3.08 and plan to move to System 8.5, 8.6, Imac or a G3 computer you need to upgrade to Bar Code Pro 3.55 or better.
