Englisch Korrektur!

Hei Leute;

Comment to the topic „generation gap“

How often parents or grandparents have said „The youth today“ or how many times we can not understand what the older ones have always against our style or with our music. And about this topic is my comment: There is a generation gap, and if so why.

It begins with the selection of clothes, we would prefer to have the clothes we liked and which belong to the current fashion. But how often our parents are against it and want to buy other clothes. Where we think „That’s OUT“. Or take another example: music. We young people prefer listening to pop or rap, but our parents find it terrible, but we also do not like their music, such as classical music. With Grandma and Grandpa that’s even worse. I think a generation gap exists. There are also similarities but there is a gap.

And Why? I think this gap is created simply by the changing times. How the fashion or the music changes so does changing our lives and our social orientation settings. Our parents were just another Educated and thus they see the world with different eyes. I think there will always be a gap.

Hallo Antitofu,

Comment on the topic „generation gap“

How often is it, that parents or grandparents have said „The youth of today“, or how many times can we not understand what the older ones always have against our style or our music. And about this topic is my comment: If there is a generation gap, and if so, why.

It begins with the selection of clothes. We would prefer to have the clothes we like and which belong to the current fashion. But how often are our parents against it and want to buy other clothes. While we think „That’s OUT“. Or take another example: music. We young people prefer listening to pop or rap, but our parents find it terrible, but we also do not like their music, such as classical music. With Grandma
and Grandpa that’s even worse. I think a generation gap
exists. There are also similarities, but there is a gap.

And why? I think this gap is created simply by the changing times. As the fashion or the music changes, so are our lives and our social orientation settings. Our parents were just educated differently and thus they see the world with different eyes. I think there will always be a gap.

Einige grobe Sachen entfernt und geändert.

Hi,

Siehe unten.

Grüße
Heinrich

How often did you hear parents or grandparents say „The youth today“?
How often do we wonder why the elder ones cannot appreciate our style or our music taste?
My comment regarding this topic is: There exists a generation gap.

I would like to explain why there exists such a gap.

It starts with the choice of clothing. We prefer clothes we like, clothes that are up to date, fashion style.
But often our parents dislike our clothes and would prefer to buy different ones, that are „out“ in our opinion.

Another example: music.

We, the young people, prefer to listen to Pop or Rap, but our parents find this terrible.
And the other way round we do not like their music either - such as classic music.
With Grandma and Grandpa it’s even worse.

Yes - the older generation and the newer generation have some things in common, but there
is also a generation gap.

But why is this so?

I think this gap is created by the change of times. Our lives and our social orientation changes
the same way the fashion or music changes.

Our parents were just educated in a different way und thus they see the world with different eyes.

In my opinion this gap will always exists.

Hallo Antitofu,

im großen und ganzen Gut. Ich störe mich nur an dem Ausdruck „we would have the clothes we liked“
Ich würde hier eher schreiben we would have the clothes we like.

Bei „That´s OUT“ eher "that´s OUT weil man ja eigentlich innerhalb des Satzes bleibt.

Über die Formulierung des letzten Satzes „Our parents were just another Educated“.

Weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Hallo, hier mein Vorschlag:
How often do parents and grandparents say „the youth of today - oh, my god!“? And quite as often we young people cannot understand why older people do not like our way to dress or our music. Let us begin with the selection of clothes. We prefer fashionable, stylish clothes. But very often our parents do not like this kind of clothes. They want us to wear different outfits that are old-fashioned in our opinion. Take another example: music. We young people prefer listening to pop or rap. Our parents, however, think this music is terrible. And we find our parents’ music horrible. And concerning Grandma and Grandpa it is even worse. I think there is a generation gap, indeed. We have many things in common but there are also great differences.
And what is the reason for this? I think there has always been a generation gap because the times have always been changing and along with them fashion, music, social structures and our whole lives. Our parents were just educated differently and thus look at the world from different points of view. I think there has always been a gap - and always will…

Hallo Antitofu,
Comment on (nicht to) the „generation gap“

How often habe parents or grandpartens said „The youth of today“ or how many times have we not understood what older people have against our style or our music. Here is my comment on this topic: Is there a generation gap, and, if so, why?

…prefer to have the clothes we like… …But how often are our parents against them (the clothes)and want to buy other clothes, whereas we think „That’s OUT“. …
…How fashion or music changes, so do our lives and social orientation change. Our parents were educated differently and thus they see…

Ich hoffe, das hilft.
