Da bin ich wieder mit ein paar Übungen. Ich hoffe, dass nicht allzu viel verkehrt ist. Große Probleme hatte ich gefühlt bei der „Reported Speech“-Übung. Vielleicht kann mir jemand noch mal etwas darüber sagen. Wäre sehr schön.

Change the dialogue into reported speech.
Start with: ‘The policeman said … and Jane answered …’
Policeman:

Jane:
Yes, but I have to park here. My TV set is out of order and I’m taking it to that radio and TV shop over there.
Jane answered that she saw it. But she had to park there because her TV set was out of order and she wanted to take it to the radio and TV shop over there.
Policeman:
You can park in Market Street.
The Policeman said she could park her car in Market Street.
Jane:
But I’m not very strong. I can’t carry a TV set from Market Street to the shop.
Jane answered that she was not very strong and that she could not carry a TV set from Market Street to the shop.
Policeman:
O.K. You can park your car here for a minute.
The Policeman said okay. He allowed her to park her car there for a minute.
Jane:
Thank you.
Jane thanked.
Policeman:
And I can carry the TV set for you.
The Policeman said that he could carry the TV set for her.
Jane:
Oh, that’s nice. Thank you very much.
