Ich bin Webdesigner und kennen bei allem die komplette HTML etc. Leier, aber mit Netscape klappt diese Seite: http://springstomania.com/links.html einfach nicht. Ich könnte verzweifeln. Dem ganzen habe ich bereits 2 Studnen gewidmet, die Werbung lokal entfernt usw. aber ohne Erfolg. Mit dem MSIE scheint es zu klappen, nur Netscape scheint wie so oft Probleme zu haben.

also ich würde im body-Bereich die rel-links, um die css einzubinden () rausnehmen und dafür einmalig im head-Bereich verewigen (wie mit der style.css). Verstehen sowieso nicht ganz, wofür Du es mehrmalig im body machst, zumal mir nicht bekannt ist, dass es im body überhaupt „erlaubt“ ist bzw. funktioniert!

Dadurch das es extern von einer Datei eingebunden wird, spart man sich bei 2000 Seiten etlichen Speicherplatz. Nahezu jeder macht es so, aber ich kann es in der Tat in den head setzen, auch enn es im Body auch klappt.

The table summary attribute should be used to describe
the table structure. It is very helpful for people using
non-visual browsers. The scope and headers attributes for

*lach* - und ich mache es ja auch so. Ist mir ja schon klar. Nur ist es reichlich merkwürdig es mehrmals einzubinden. Und dass es im body-bereich unüblich ist, steht außer Frage. Deshalb könnte ich mir schon vorstellen, dass der alte Netscape damit auch nicht klar kommt, auch wenn Deine Seite mit Netscape6 funktioniert.

ok, das meiste ist auch ueberfluessig, inbesondere alles mit „lacks“. Aber weiter unten scheint es mir so, dass dein Dokument nicht wohlgeformt ist. Meine damit es es sich vielleicht um fehlende Ende-Tags beziehungsweise um ueberschneidende Tags handelt, wo der NS empfindlicher reagiert als der IE.

Bei Großprojekten werden Teile generiert, hierduch kommt es in seltenen Fällen zu einer Wiederholung die in diesem Falle jedoch ohne Konsequenzen bleibt. Netscape 6 ist doch im Prinzip ein MSIE mit Netscape Aufkleber.

Also was ich nicht verstehe, sind die vielen link-Tags, die eigentlich nur im header erlaubt sind und nicht im body!! Wie z.B.
Un dann kommt da immer dieses ominöse vor ???
Abgesehen verstehe ich nicht wie Deine Styles wirkén. Nirgends sehe ich ein class-Attribute…komisch???
Ausserdem ist deine desc.css garnicht vom type=„text/css“ sondern, wenn ich das richtig sehe vom type=„text/html“ !!!
Und dort wo Du ilayer per doumnet.write reinschreibst, solltest Du vergessen und hardcoded reinsetzten. Was soll das dynamsich da reinschreiben. Der ie macht das ja auch, aber letztendlich versteht er ilayer ohnehin nicht.
Und wenn Du schon nolayer-Tag verwendest, dann sollte da auch was rein. Am besten iframes, denn iframes kennt ja NS4 nicht.

also ich hatte mir jetzt mal die Mühe gemacht, deinen Quellcode genommen, die „rel link“ entfernt (und zum Test absolute links gesetzt) und danach hat es mein Netscape Version 4.76 gepackt.
