Hallo Angelisten,
hab mir mal wieder alte Männer beim Musizieren angeschaut (Cream in der Royal Albert Hall Konzert von 2005) und natürlich auch das Stück ‚White Room‘
Der Text war mir beim Hören unverständlich und auch in gedruckter Form

At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes
She’s just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings
I’ll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd
Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves
Die Worte/Sätze zu übersetzen macht mir kein Problem, allein der Sinn will sich mir nicht erschließen.
Wahrscheinlich hab ich nur keinen Zugang zu der Symbolik oder den Anspielungen.
Unglücklich verliebt, oder Herzschmerz nach Trennung/Abschied?
Kann mich mal wer von Schlauch stoßen?
